«When someone asks me
why I have become a teacher,
I always remind them why it's
worth it .
Every job has its ups and
downs.
But not every job can change a life»
I really love English and spend much
time on it. I’m happy that my hobby coincides with my work. I chose teaching as
my profession because I enjoy teaching and working with young people.
So, I’ve been teaching for eighteen years and
all this time I’m enjoying a lot of positive feedback from my students. I feel
absolutely happy watching the result of my work. My great pleasure is to watch
my students’ progress with every passing year.
When I’m asked to describe myself with three
adjectives I usually say that I’m quite positive, very energetic and extremely
optimistic.
I’ve always been interested in such a problem
as the communicative approach in teaching English. In my teaching practice I
give preferences to group work, brainstorming, problem-solving activities,
role-play and project work. I use innovative methods of teaching English
through on-line projects as well. During the lessons I never forget to use
games, jokes, funny rhymes, contests, shows. I always try to see the world
through the eyes of children.
«To teach English well we need
two things: passion and effective learning methods – and passion is a more
important one . So all the things I do while teaching I do with passion. Passion
makes you want to learn English and the powerful learning methods only instruct
you how to do it faster."
Besides, I like to spend my free
time growing flowers. It is wonderful to
water a plant and watch it grow and flourish. A flower is a complete delight to
my eyes and honey to my soul. Students can be compared with flowers. We must
grow them with love and appreciation.
